With stars like Khaby Lame, Charli D’Amelio and Bella Poarch reaching hundreds of millions of followers, as well as celebrities like Will Smith and The Rock, TikTok is home to many famous faces. Here are the 20 most followed TikTokers in July 2023.

TikTok has established itself as the perfect place for videos to go viral, reach millions of users, and turn anyone into a superstar overnight.

The platform is now available in over 150 markets worldwide in 75 different languages, with the past year appearing to have been the most successful year for the application.

With so many lip-sync videos, comedy skits, and various other content, people are easily addicted — despite the app nearly being banned in the US in September 2020, and even now facing the threat of a ban.

5. MrBeast – 84.3 million TikTok followers

A YouTuber with over 130 million subscribers, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is also growing in popularity on TikTok, becoming the 5th most viewed TikTok account as of January 2023.

On TikTok, Jimmy and friends have posted videos of everything from participating in some of the most viral TikTok trends to implementing mini versions of challenges and concepts typically found on his YouTube channel.

MrBeast is known for his huge projects like his Squid Game, which exploded in 2021, as well as his philanthropy. Given the rate at which he’s gaining followers, it looks like he could continue to climb the leaderboard.

4. Addison Rae – 88.5 million TikTok followers

If there’s one name that’s almost as synonymous with TikTok fame as Charli D’Amelio, it’s Addison Rae. Best known for her dance choreography videos, she has built a hugely popular YouTube following due to her TikTok success.

She’s been reported to make $8.5 million a year, however, those earnings aren’t based solely on TikTok — and it’s all about the young star. The star appeared in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, signed a multi-film deal with Netflix following the release of the movie ‘He’s All That’ on the streaming platform, and has also launched her own line of fragrances and Screen Break skin mist. She has also signed a deal for the upcoming film Fashionista.

However, their number of followers will stop growing in 2023 and even decrease slightly.

3. Bella Poarch – 92.6 million TikTok followers

Bella Poarch has rocketed to fame in less than a year and has quickly amassed a huge following. The American-Filipino star launched his TikTok account in April 2020 and now has over 90 million followers, overtaking Addison Rae as the third most followed TikToker.

Before the starlet found fame, she served in the United States Navy. She is now known for her TikToks. She starred in her very own music videos for “Build a Bitch”, “Dolls” and “Inferno” and was also featured in Sub Urban’s music video for “Cirque”, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Vol. 3 fashion show and was also signed as a HyperX brand ambassador.

Like Addison, Bella’s follower count has also dropped in 2023.

2. Charli D’Amelio – 151 million TikTok followers

Although Charli D’Amelio is no longer at the top, she is still the queen of TikTok at second place.

At just 18, her rise to the top was nothing short of spectacular. Alongside her incredible success, she has racked up over 9.0 million YouTube subscribers and has collaborated with the likes of Noah Schnapp and Marshmello.

D’Amelio stormed onto the stage with her videos of dance choreography. She even ended up being the app’s first star to appear in a Super Bowl commercial, an impressive feat no matter how you break it down. She also starred in Chase Hudson’s music video for America’s Sweetheart.

Aside from being the most followed account on TikTok for a long time before being overtaken, Charli was also the first person to reach 10 billion likes on the platform.

1. Khaby Lame – 161.3 million TikTok followers

Italian TikToker Khaby Lame is officially the most followed account on TikTok, having taken on the likes of Addison Rae and Charli D’Amelio in his rise.

Lame has reacted to many other videos, including one of the most liked videos on the platform, in which he reacted to someone’s method of peeling a banana, and also has the likes of Dixie D’Amelio, Zach King, and Bella Poarch insanely quickly overtaken.

It also doesn’t look like the star’s popularity will wane. There is every chance that he could remain the undisputed king of TikTok for many years to come.
