The announcement came from Billy Zhang, President of Overseas Marketing, Sales, and Services at OPPO, who said on Twitter that “there’s a real appetite” for the phone.
Sadly, all the pre-orders were placed in China, as the phone is currently unavailable on any other market.
The smartphone is an all-around monster flagship with its dual-periscope camera and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. We received it for a review, and we’re thoroughly testing it to see how good it is actually. We already posted our battery life test, and the result is promising although there aren’t many phones for a proper comparison.
Sadly, the device is still limited to the domestic market. When the phone was launched, Oppo was still blocked by Nokia from selling its devices in Europe, but this might change soon. Both companies signed a cross-license 5G patent agreement, meaning the Find X7 Ultra is practically free to escape China and reach international markets.
