Into the Spider-Verse features every Spider-Person under the sun, but there’s one spectacular Spider-Man feature we’d like to mention.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is considered by many to be the best Spider-Man movie of all time. So to say that people are excited for the movie’s sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, would be an understatement. And finally the time has come.

Now, there are so many characters and easter eggs in this movie, including a certain spectacular entrance. But to what extent does the Spectacular Spider-Man appear? We’ll explain it, but first: Slight spoiler alert for Across the Spider-Verse!
Across the Spider-Verse offers a spectacular cameo appearance
The official storyline of Across the Spider-Verse reads as follows: “After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People tasked with to protect himself.” Existence. You see, an overarching arc in the TV show is Peter Parker’s ultimate acceptance that even if he can handle all the hardships that come his way, there’s a reason he has to remain Spider-Man. He accepts that Spider-Man must make certain sacrifices, which Miles refuses to accept in Across the Spider-Verse.

However, Spider-Man continues to show why he’s spectacular, as during Miles’ big fight with Miguel, the cartoon manages to hold down Spider-Cat to prevent him from being injured by the knockdown.
Why is the spectacular Spider-Man the best Peter Parker?
Well, that might just be a Spider-Girl’s opinion, but the Spectacular Spider-Man Show is arguably the best on-screen representation of Spider-Man and Peter Parker ever. It also has the best Spider-Man theme song out there.

The series is based (obviously) on the Marvel Comics and was developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. It ran for two seasons from 2008-2009 and is currently 100% Rotten Tomatoes based.

And it’s hard not to agree with the site. The TV show – and Josh Keaton’s performance – is superb in its portrayal of Peter Parker, getting the nerd aspect and the smart, cool superhero part right, all with well-crafted overarching narratives and character arcs.
Even if some disagree on the animation style, the quality was still good, especially in action scenes where you could feel every punch and punch of the hero.
The villains are also spectacularly done: the Sinister Six are all set up in individual episodes before joining forces in the run-up to the season one finale, à la The Avengers. And if you’re a fan of the Symbiote arc, then you are need This cartoon is worth watching as it is the best on-screen portrayal of Venom and Eddie Brock ever. Definitive better than Spiderman 3.

Admittedly, the series is able to achieve that depth in its heroes and villains because it has way more screen time than any other film. However, hardly any of the other Spider-Man TV series comes close to the quality of Spectacular Spider-Man, even with longer running times.
Fans also look nostalgically at this show as it was definitely cut in its heyday. Although the second season was brilliant and ended on a cliffhanger, the series got caught in the middle of the Disney-Marvel Fox rights debacle that resulted in The Spectacular Spider-Man being canceled and in the episode Ultimate Spider-Man. originated .

It’s been over a decade since then, and while a show’s third season reboot seems unlikely, fans still have hope. And who knows, maybe Keaton’s cameo in Across the Spider-Verse will reignite interest in the project.
